Ibn al-Arabi Foundation
Projects

Introduction

This project focuses on the concept of God in Ibn al Arabi's worldview, requiring authoritative editions of three key Rasails: Kitab al Jalala, Kitab al Hu, and Kitab al Ahdiyya.

  • Kitab al Jalala: Explores the mysteries and signs of the word "Allah," including the meaning of its letters, its comprehensive nature, and its relation to the Essence.

  • Kitab al Hu: Reveals the meaning of the pronoun "Hu" as an alias for singleness (ahdiyya) and discusses various aliases of God.

  • Kitab al Ahdiyya: Differentiates between the unity/singleness of the Creator and that of creation.

The aim is to produce and publish new critical editions of these three interlinked Rasails in a book titled "Rasail Ibn al Arabi."
